General information about Basic Safety Training - Refresher Course (Norwegian) - E-learning (OBSBLE002)

Target GroupShelf workers personnel who will repeat basic training every 4 years.

ObjectiveUpdate course participants ‘understanding and skills to safeguard their own and others’ safety in a crisis situation and contribute to safe behavior.

Course ContentsUpon completion of the course, participants must have maintained and updated knowledge and skills about:

  • Proper safety behavior.
  • Use of lifejacket.

  • Use of hand extinguisher.
  • Proper use of life jacket with breathing lung.

  • Life-saving first aid.
  • Helicopter evacuation (HUET).

PrerequisitesBasic safety course or equivalent equivalent competence in accordance with Norwegian Oil and Gas’ guideline 002.

ExaminationNo. Requires participation and completion of all modules.
